Here’s the thing.
This is the first post on this blog and I need to tell you why I am doing this.
I’ve been meaning to start writing on this blog for so long and I’ve put it off again and again because, well, life happened.
As I am writing this now, it feels like a big load has been off-loaded from my shoulders.
I am finally gonna make this happen.
Me, actually writing something again! It’s been so long since my last blog post.
Anyway, I prepared a list of reasons why I am blogging here and why now.
It’s actually a very focused list, not one of those long ass lists that you see nowadays.
I want to be a better writer
I am just an ordinary guy, just like any other guy you see in the streets everyday. Just like you and everybody else, I want to improve and be better at different things.
Nothing is better than just diving in and getting your feet wet.
Much like everything in life, you need to put in the work.
In this case, I need to prepare, keep mashing on my keyboard and put in the work edit my content.
None of my editors will work on this blog. It’ll all me.
Be a better thinker
I’m the quiet type but I know I’m not the best “thinker” in the world. Either I overthink things or I just spew out what I have in mind.
Through blogging, I can step back, think about certain things in a deeper way and give myself time to really comprehend things.
That way, I can explain things better and convey my learnings in a clearer and more meaningful way.
Share my experiences & inspire other people
I’ve been in the trenches. I’ve put in the work over the years.
I’ve started businesses, I’ve failed. I’ve succeeded. I’ve done a bunch of really stupid things. I’ve done a handful of awesome things.
That’s my life. I learn as I go.
Mistakes are part of it.
Since I’m in a new journey now that’s taking everything that I have. I want to try and document my experiences and things that I’ve learned along the way hoping that somebody out there will eventually find it and learn from the things that I’ll be writing about, hence cutting their learning time.
Some mistakes can be avoided.
Success can be reached faster.
You just need to keep learning.
Learn from other people
Since I’m on the topic of learning, then here’s one of the things that I noticed over time.
Entrepreneurs never stop learning.
We need to keep learning to get a feel of what’s happening around us. It helps us be open to new concepts and change.
Being stagnant is the worst enemy of an entrepreneur. Don’t be caught in that funk.
Keep learning, keep dreaming, keep doing.
How do I learn?
I read books, I listen to podcasts, I browse social media, I use apps like Flipboard, I save articles that I love using Pocket and I learn from other people that I meet.
I do it as much as I can. Obviously, it’s not easy to manage work time and learning but you NEED to make time.
Oh, and that’s just the first step of learning. Hearing or reading about things doesn’t really do much.
The best way to really learn what you just “learned” are to apply and teach.
This blog will help me by allowing me to learn, apply and teach.
Connect with other like minded people
This blog will definitely attract like-minded people that I can also learn from or to whom I can teach/bestow my super, ultra wisdom. (Sorry.)
As I am located in the Philippines, it can get tedious or it can be harder to find like-minded people. Through this blog, opportunities to meet other people that I can learn from will definitely be a big bonus.
Now, here’s what I need you to do.
- Add me on Snapchat. Snap me and say Hi!

That’s it. Let’s go from there!
